The post partum period is a special, special time. Mothers are made as babies are born, and it doesn’t really matter how many you have, it’s still special! Herbal baths honour this changing relationship between mother and babe continuing earthside, and can be very healing physically and emotionally. Newborn herbal baths are one of my favourite things to capture, and I have a new herbal bath soak especially designed by my wonderful naturopath Gemma Knaap. It contains herbs and flowers to heal, relax, and of course, look pretty! You can read all about the benefits of this blend on her blog here. This product, unlike many around, contains no dyes or perfumes making them especially safe for babies. You can read more about my herbal bath sessions here.

Beautiful Tiarne enjoyed a soak with divine baby Zarah on the weekend. Such a lovely experience to share. Herbal bath sessions also include a 15 minute lifestyle photography session including Daddy is he’s around – which he wasn’t this time! And as a side note, how amazing is Z’s hair?! Seriously! Love.

This post supports something close to my heart: one-woman small business. Supporting local businesses is a passion of mine, particularly micro mama businesses. I only ever recommend businesses I’ve used myself and I don’t receive any payment either, just good karma 😉
Small businesses I’ve posted about in the past include:

Look forward to capturing your story soon xxx
