In January, I did a bunch of Splash Minis at the river in Maylands!

I was lucky enough to capture some special families I wrote a little about here in this post.

Families that are by choice not by blood are the most special of all.

It’s always an honour to capture your stories from your day-to-day things to extra special shenanigans, I’m here for it!

The most special women of all

I posted this at the time. They’ve since welcomed healthy babies for their lucky biological parents.

“Sometimes we make friends in the most unlikely ways… in places we literally never thought we’d be, special bonds can be forged… ✨

These two incredible women are giving the most precious gift there is to give: they are surrogates, both of them, sacrificing for different couples who needed them. (Surrogacy in Australia is altruistic and without payment, so it is literally a gift 😇)
They have met and supported each other through these extra special and tricky pregnancies and soon they’ll to pass these babes they’ve grown to be loved by their lucky biological parents 🥰
It was it a joy to spend some time with and capture these special women. Words really do not suffice. What an honour. Thanks for choosing me ❤️ .

And a-whole-nother set of special women!

These 2 special mamas are neurodivergent art therapists running Wondering Woman Wildish Child. They came together for some Minis to get some photos together with their babes for the clinic. We’re only sharing faceless images here, but rest assured there are beautiful families photos in their galleries!
Actually, Lynsey is a long term client, should we try and force her to guest blog for us?! Lets!

Look forward to capturing your family story soon xxx
