My ADORABLE nephew (zero bias here!)  is nearly 7 months old and it was time for some updated photos with his divine mama. If you’re new to these 2, then check out her maternity and birth blog here, and newborn Parker deliciousness right here. You won’t regret it. SO. much. squish!!!

(I recently got told I use too many exclamation marks. Yes! I! Do!!!! Suck it up!)

So anyhoo, we went up to the Pines at Wanneroo for a sunset Mini sesh. Around 6-7 months old a lot of photogs refer to these sessions as Sitter Sessions, because all of a sudden your baby has a cool new skill: sitting up by themselves! It’s a totally different style of photography to just a couple months earlier, and it’s a cool stage to capture while they’re still super squishy and adorable without a hint of toddler about them. (Cos fair warning, that toddlerhood creeps up on you!)

While we were there, I wanted to try out a bit of  a festive fairy light Mini with my kiddos as well, who absolutely adore Parker to the moon and back. I’m definitely going to have to frame one of these! I’m not normally into a lot of sets and props, but I also totally get people love a festive photo, and I can see why with my fave bebes right here! I particularly like to frame them and put them away with the Christmas decorations and bring them out each December. If you’re interested in a November Mini at sunset at the Pines, festive or not, please book online ASAP here, because I’m actually away on camp for a week in November too, so spots are genuinely limited!

Look forward to capturing your family story soon xxx
