Happy first day of autumn to us all! I love how this year summer literally just quit and it actually rained today, lol!
Anyway, I call this special top secret location in Wembley Downs the Fairy Glen sometimes, because it used to be quite the random field of wildflowers (and pretty weeds, haha) in spring – check it out here! Unfortunately it’s become more popular for dog walkers and kids riding bikes, starting during our first season of covid isolations, and is far more trampled than it used to be… however, it still maintains its charm, particularly in spring.
I was drawn here over summer for a few shoots simply because the light is SO consistent and predictable and being so close to the coast means we can often get a sea breeze to counteract the blistering summer we just had. While it’s dry and sandy in summer, that also means it’s golden with a soft colour palette and a totally different kind of gorgeous. Apparently I’m now an expert at being selective with image choices lolol, so here are a dozen faves from a few shoots over summer in the glen!
This beautiful little fam and their amazing doggos, who just by the way are sooo well behaved, unlike mine haha!
This is the actually my favourite location for puppers.
Darling repeat clients, come to capture their babies growing up yet again. Such a gift for my heart!
You can see baby Ryan on the blog here.
The biggest smiles you’ve ever seen from the happiest family who graced me with their divine presence.
What is about twins?! *All of the heart eyes* This lovely fam got double the joy and now have 2 boys and 2 girls, and noone needs to fight over who’s cuddling the bebe!
Look forward to capturing your family story soon xxx
