We went for a sunrise beach play at Swanbourne and it was perfection. You just can’t beat this soft morning light, slightly grumpy but adorable toddler with divine parents, and of course, my BFF, Toaster.

Toaster is an absolutely hilarious border collie cross poodle, and look, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit he’s a teensy bit of a handful for his pawrents, but he’s also a gorgeous very good boi. And I just love him!
(I always loved the “naughty kid” when I was a teacher too, lol!)

Miss Sophia is now 1 and was not loving her 6am beach excursion but she did so well regardless.

PS this is your reminder that autumn and early winter and the perfect time to do sunrise beach sessions! It’s not too cold, no wind and sunrise is much than the 4am it is in summer!
