I love love love when families book me for maternity AND then newborn sessions. I love to see Mama’s blooming beauty in late pregnancy, and then there is nothing more delicious than newborn toes! In March and April, I was honoured to meet Karen and her family to document her beautiful baby bump in my favourite wild sunset spot in Innaloo, and then later at their place nearby to meet baby Charlie. The best!
Big bro was pretty tired at this maternity session since to get that sunset light it’s late in the day, but luckily it was mostly about mama and bump anyway 😉 I am obsessed with this lush grass and waterway at sunset, though it is a slightly adventurous spot to get too, as you can see, it’s worth it!
Cute but slightly disinterested big brother, haha, tired mama and proud daddy all make for an authentic newborn session, plus a herbal bath thrown in because it’s just such a lovely experience for mama and bebe. You can read more about herbal baths here.
