There goes the neighbourhood!
Moving house is an exciting, stressful, fun, awful time. Add a toddler and you have PTSD-inducing chaos at times! Haha, just kidding. I love the fresh start moving house brings (once the actual moving part is over *shudder*) and goodbye neighborhood sessions are lovely! Check out Tenille’s goodbye to their gorgeous old house here.
Jing and her little fam are moving from their petite inner city East Perth pad, to a spacious home in the burbs close to a lovely local school. However, where they live is super special to them, and their daily walks through the park over the bridge and back have been an integral part of life, and childhood for their 2 year old, purple-balloon loving darling. Too special not too capture as a wonderful final goodbye to the only home she’s known. Bittersweet for them, but I really get a kick out of these special sessions.
Jing enjoyed our session too, and left me these comments on my Facebook post:
Thanks Cat for the beautiful photos, and we had a very nice experience! Will come back for more 🙂
Join us as we wander down the street, up the steps, over the hill and down again, blow some bubbles and shed a few tears, say hi to the swans and head home for snacks and cuddles…. all with a beloved purple balloon we couldn’t get a shot without 😉
Look forward to capturing your family story soon xxx
